We are entirely reliant on voluntary donations for all of our income. As a small charity, we are able to keep our costs relatively low and the trustees of ZRSDP have committed to meet all costs so that 100% of what you give us can go directly to projects in Zimbabwe.
There are a number of ways you can help us:-
Online Donation Portals
1. Just Giving – This is our preferred online portal, doesn’t take any commission which results in the most money possible ending up with the charity. It is very quick to make a one off donation or setup a regular standing order. However, you can also donate using Virgin Giving or PayPal Giving
2. Setting up standing orders offline
Standing Orders are one of the simplest and most effective ways to give to ZRSDP. As this income is regular and guaranteed, it means we can plan ahead more effectively and secure the development of further classroom blocks. To set up a standing order please download our Standing Order Form and send the scanned form to james.herbertson@zrsdp.org. You can also post it to:
James Herbertson,
67 Falkland Road,
London,
NW5 2XB
For your donation to have the maximum effect please also fill in a Gift Aid Form If you are a UK Tax payer for every £100 given to ZRSDP we will receive £25 more back from the government.
3. Attend an Event
ZRSDP has a reputation for throwing great events, including speed dating, quiz nights, and our annual summer party. To see whats coming up, go to our Forthcoming Events page.
4. Sponsorship and donation
Whether you are shaving your hair off or swimming the channel, why not get yourself sponsored to do it and nominate ZRSDP as your chosen charity. Alternatively, if you are holding a coffee morning or organising a sweepstake at the office, we are always immensely grateful for any donations we receive. Please contact us for a sample sponsorship form, or create your own fundraising website on one of the online portals.
If you are a teacher or pupil at a school in the UK and would like to do some fundraising for one of our partner schools in Zimbabwe, please contact us we would be delighted to speak to you about it.
